This 1830’s post & beam farmhouse has two and a half acres of land and is listed as part of the National Historic Village of Newfane, Vermont. Winter Hill Farm has had an organic garden here for over twenty-five years, and all guests are treated to fruits and vegetables that the groundhog has not eaten! Wake up to a cup of coffee or tea, fresh picked berries in the summer, and warm muffins coming out of the oven. Sit on the bindery's deck and watch the sun come up over the back field.
The Newfane Village Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and it includes over 60 buildings, including Winter Hill Farm/Still Water Bindery. The farmhouse has two bedrooms for AirBnB, and a private full bath. There is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, silver in color, named Mizz Skye Twilight and a Siamese cat, named Belle Lune, in residence. There are many walks around the village, that Skye will willingly show you, if you are so inclined.
