Bookbinding workshops are available and on-going for all ages, from beginners to professional artists . . .

Indio Shibori Dyeing ~ spend a day dyeing natural fabrics in indigo dye using Shibori techniques

All you need to do is to come ~ and then be inspired in this wonderful Vermont bindery!

Learn to make books, paper, paste papers, decorative papers and boxes. Come with no experience and learn to use book binding tools to make simple book structures and boxes. Or come with years of experience and work on projects that you have been meaning to do for a long time, but maybe you needed a little instruction and help, or you just never got around to doing it, or needed use of a board shear.

Bindery classes are limited to a maximum of five participants, so you get lots of one-on-one instruction. Patricia has been binding books and teaching school programs from pre-school through graduate level for over forty years, since apprenticing in London, England.

 

Bindery workshops are a perfect vacation activity for any time of the year.

Class Size: most workshops are limited to a maximum of five participants ~ email for particulars.

Level: Beginners to Experienced welcome

Age Recommendation: Varies - Five years old through adult - inquire for the class you wish to take. (An adult must take the workshop with anyone under 12 years of age.)

     Private classes: range from $75 per person per hour.
