Paste Paper Workshops

 

Paste Paper Workshops are available from May through September. The workshops are held outside on the deck behind the bindery. As the class is weather dependent, we will want nice warm weather.

Paste papers are fun and colorful "finger painting", using wheat paste mixed with acrylic paint and a variety of tools, from brushes to found objects. Every participant will make a set of 6 papers. Feel free to exchange these with others in the class or keep them for yourself. Paste papers can be used as decorative papers for covering books and boxes at Still Water Bindery, or for your own artwork and crafts at home.

Class Size: limited to a maximum of 5 participants. 

 

Current Workshops: by appointment.

Level: No prior experience is needed ~ beginner to advanced. 

​

Age Recommendation: Five-years old through adult. (An adult must take the workshop with anyone under 12 years of age.)

 

Time: Minimum two hours. The papers will be dry the following day to take home.

Cost: Includes all instruction, tools and materials

Group Classes: $45 per person per hour including materials, for groups more than one.

Private classes: $75 per person per hour including materials.
